Fancy knowing a little more?

Jules and Lou of Ripley Antiques have a genuine love of quality Antique, Vintage and unique Home Interior pieces and love nothing more than to share their finds, adding value to any home, garden or person! And since being joined by The Hidden Boutique you can now add pre-loved high-end high-street clothing to list! We opened our doors in 2017 and have evolved into the collaboration of sustainability that we are today!

Axbridge Museum (King John’s Hunting Lodge) used to be owned by a very eccentric lady called Miss Ripley, a spinster who collected a very wide range of Antiques. She stored them all in King John’s Hunting Lodge. Once a year she would allow the locals to peruse her collection of Antiques! Miss Ripley died in 1969 and bequeathed the building to the National Trust. We named our shop after her and as a nod of respect to the history of our Town and to her incredible eye for Antiques and Collectables.
