A stunning Copper log basket with a brass hinged copper handle.

A lovely cradle shaped basked sat on four brass claw feet.  The copper has been hammered by hand.  This strengthens the suface area of the metal but also a popular look style particularly during the Arts and Crafts era.  I think this is a little later, probably 1920s/30s

Dimensions:

43.5cm x. 28cm.  Handle height when extended - 35cm
