Japanese Meiji Period Imari Fluted Bowl(Ref: 395)
A beautiful and elaborately decorated Japanese Meiji Imari (Arita) porcelain fluted bowl.
Stunning quality, scalloped sides in rich orange and blues featuring a floral design, fruits, geometric patterns and dragons.
It has a crack unfortunately from the rim of the bowl to approximately two thirds of the way to the base. It is not blindingly obvious, you do have to look quite hard to spot it! I have photographed it as clearly as possible.
The diameter across the top of the bowl is 32cm
The height is 12.5cm
