A vintage Metronome, German made, by Maelzel.
He was an inventor and a scientist who invented Orchestration and Automaton. Collaborated with Beethoven, although they fell out in 1814.
They reconciled in 1817 when Beethoven declared that he would "stop using traditional tempo indications like Allegro" in favour of Maezel.
