Brass Nightwatchman's 'Tell Tale' Clock from the factory of Bristol Cream sherry.  The factory closed down in the 1970's when the company moved to Spain!  

One of the nightwatchmen brought this clock into us.  There is a small slot where on the hour, every hour with his special pencil, he would make a mark, to prove he was there....

The clock is stamped RECORDING CLOCK - DENT - 41 Pall Mall.  The serial number is 75958

Diameter - 9cm x 4cm - its quite a weight!

There is no key to lock it, but apart from that it all works perfectly.
